Our 2 year old daughter has a bit more balance in these than traditional skates which means less back pain for me from trying to hold her and myself up on the ice. We are very casual skaters and use these just for fun, but I don’t imagine you could need anything more for a toddler. Shipping was insanely fast too!

Although this is not a skate that will get your little one doing figure 8s, it's a nice modestly-priced confidence builder for the first exposure to being on ice. The boot is sturdy and well-made, customer service was helpful and the skates shipped right away. In another year (and with bigger feet) we can trade up to a "real" skate with increased versatility.

I purchased the girls and boys double bladed skates. I did have a little bit of difficulty finding the boys double bladed on your site. But, they arrived at my home in no time. The quality of the product is superior at a very reasonable cost. I'm looking forward to introducing my Grandchildren to ice skating. I have one question. Do the skates need to be sharpened?
